Swiss Stuff Part II

Hi everybody!

Today I'll keep on writing about Swiss tastes. This patisserie is called Café Pelikan I'm going to tell you about. It is in the old town part of St. Gallen. I think I'm gonna write for a few times just about tasty arts in St. Gallen. The reason for priority ? It's my hometown :)

Macarons de St.Gall

                                                                  Pralinés Sortiment

                                                        every single dessert is delicious!

From left to right; the first dessert is the Chocolate-Lime Mousse with Strawberry Sauce, the second one is the Pineapple-Coconut Mousse, the third one: Exotic-Strawberry Mousse, the fourth: Vermicelles (one of my favourites) is made of chestnut puree with vanilla sugar and cream which is a South Swiss speciality, the fifth: Strawberry tart and many various sweeties like Crémeschnitte (that's puffy pastry with cream inside it!) are the desserts which you should definitely indulge yourself with in Switzerland.

The second dessert on right is the Mohrenkopf (Biscuit with cream inside it an chocolate sauce on it (very delicious!), the third is Crémeschnitte which I mentioned above.

The sweeties which my mum bought for Christmas Dinner  :)

Strawberry pie, Lime-Raspberry Pie with Passionfruit on it, Berliners, Pineapple-Coconut mousse and Mohrenkopf and Macarons...The best cure for a rainy Sunday afternoon :)

Today we went there again for a coffee in the afternoon. I had a cappuccino and my mum had a   latte so I decided to write about Café Pelikan today

They created their own chocolate 365 in Labor Or Noir in Paris

They made their own dark napolitan chocolate here

My cousin bought there a pack of chocolate drops which are called 'Hot and Liquid' with which you can prepare your own hot chocolate at home. It's even appropriate for vegans-that's an information from my cousin :) (I'm not  vegan or even veggie but I actually really don't want to eat the animals which are treated on modern farms and pumped full of antibiotics.)

                                                                       Easter 2011

By the way they have an amazing brunch buffet every Sunday between 08:30-11:30. You can eat as much as you can and drink as much coffees, cappuccinos, teas and drinks for 26 Swiss Franks. They even offer you champagne after the brunch.

Swiss Stuff Part I

First of all I would like to write about this dessert which is my favourite. The Raspberry Tiramisu. There are no words to describe this delicious dessert so I just can offer you to go to St. Gallen (Switzerland) and go to Focacceria and order one after you have tasted their soups and meals. It's like heaven! That was the best dessert I've ever eaten in my 26 years in this world :)

The first time we went to Focacceria we tasted this Coconut-Corn soup. They offer you everyday three varieties of soups and they are all really extraordinary and delicious! And of course the focaccia bread..they serve these tasty olive oil smelling focaccia breads with every meal mmm...

This is the Fennel-Orange soup. It is not sweet, it is just tasting a little bit like orange. It was fabulous. I put this second picture to show you the focaccia bread.

And to drink of course I'll definitely offer you the 'Hausgemachter Hibiskusblüten Eistee' ...The home made Hibiscus Ice Tea..

Of course now you are wondering if this is all with the soup and dessert but there are delicious pasta and antipasti and filled focaccia breads. We went there twice and at both times we weren't so much hungry. And I also think it's enough when you eat a soup and this bread and dessert for dinner.
If you go to St.Gallen you SHOULD go to Focacceria..

Boyfriend Sleep Pants

my first post!

Hi everybody!
It's about 01:30, I am at my mum's house and posting for the first time..Before a few days I decided to create my own blog..I was thinking what will be my blog about..but I don't have a certain subject. It will be about everything that influences, attracts or affects me.
Yesterday I went to the Kylie Minogue concert (show!) in Zürich Hallenstadion..It was glamorous!!! They spent about 25 million dollars for this show..There were water fountains all over the stage. They used about 4000 liters of water for the show.First she has come out of a gold seashell as Aphrodite..Her dancers were also fascinating. In the second part she appeared on the stage on Pegasus-the immortal winged horse. All of her outfits were amazing! And they used about 200 Dolce Gabbana outfits for the dancers. If I find I'll put some photos in my blog. I took a few videos but they are not good enough to show how gorgeous Kylie was. One of the best parts of the show was when an angel (one of her dancers) flew to Kylie and she sat on his back and then they glided in the air. It shouldn't be so hard for this black huge guy to carry Kylie on his back, she is really tiny but she is absolutely hot!!
I went to the concert with my cousin. We got there on 18:00 o'clock to get a good place in front of the stage. The pages which were made over the loudspeaker when all the people were waiting infront of the doors was really funny. A man was saying 'Running brings you nothing! Don't run!' in Swiss-german which sounds really odd :) we went in and got really good places. We had just two girls in front of us. And there were soo many gay couples everywhere. The show started about 20:30 and we were standing all the time till 23:00 o'clock..We were really tired last night when we came back to my appartment but we had a great night!
Now I'm so tired again because I packed my stuff which was left in my appartment after my love went to Istanbul. By the way he went yesterday..I've missed him already. But sometimes getting apart for a couple of days is good for everbody I think..Then you have the chance to miss each other, that's a good thing ;) I went with him to the airport and after that I went shopping in Zürich Bahnhofstrasse till the show at evening. Whatever there are a lots of things to tell about yesterday but these are the most important ones. I have to sleep now seriously or I'll have a bad headache tomorrow.
If you have a chance you should really go and see one of  Kylie's concerts.
It was like a mix of Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friends and Moulin Rouge with Greek mythology inside it.
